Beth Penner Torstrick, a Professional Bridal Consultant Ô, is the owner of Fairy Godmothers LLC, specializing in wedding planning and event design.  Beth is known for her creative ideas and personalizing each event. The moment you meet her you will immediately feel her enthusiasm and understand why she is Louisville's premier Bridal Consultant. Her energetic, genuine, friendly personality allows her clients to be relaxed and enjoy the process of planning their special day. "I love what I do and the relationships I have developed. Beth is a native Louisvillian and the daughter of the late Ms. Dorothy Penner, one of nine Master Bridal Consultants in the world at the time of her death. Accompanying her mother to bridal market, conferences and tradeshows as well as assisting on larger weddings allowed Beth the opportunity to embrace the wedding industry at an early age. Inheriting her mother's passion, Beth always seemed to be involved if there was a wedding being planned, her first in 1982.  After her mother's untimely death she quickly realized how much she missed being around weddings. This passion led Beth to follow a dream. Building on the business her mother started, the path seemed so very clear and naming the company Fairy Godmothers, her mother's nickname, seemed a given. 

Dedicated to improving the profession and image of bridal consultants, Beth is the current Kentucky State Coordinator for the Association of Bridal Consultants, an active member of the International Special Events Society and Meeting Professionals International. As a proud member of these associations, Beth is often asked to present seminars, sharing her experience and knowledge. Beth travels several times a year to tradeshows and educational conferences where she has the opportunity to mingle with some of the most knowledgeable and talented wedding professionals in the industry, many of which are nationally and internationally known. There she finds the latest in wedding trends, exciting new event ideas, the hottest new colors, fine linens, menu options and creative floral designs.

Fairy Godmothers has designed spectacular weddings, parties and events attracting the attention of several bridal publications including Louisville Bride Magazine, Louisville Magazine, Louisville Wedding Planner and People Magazine. Fairy Godmothers was recently featured on the Fox Network television show, "Reality Weddings".

Beth is also the creative consultant for the Brown Hotel’s “Bridal Experience” each year, creating the infamous “outstanding, one of a kind” vignettes.

 Beth has been happily married for 23 years to a wonderfully supportive husband and they have one beautiful son.
